Do you have an idea for a new product, an innovative service, or a new venture? Do you want to know if it is doable, realistic, feasible? Do you want information on what to do, or where to go next?
The StFX Extension Innovation and Enterprise Centre staff, programs, and services can help you evaluate at a very early stage an idea’s readiness to move forward. We can help you identify and address critical gaps early in the process, increasing your likelihood of success and decreasing the potential of costly problems. We provide group sessions on idea generation and evaluation, as well as one-on-one meetings to assist you in assessing your idea and determining your next steps. If your idea or product requires scientific or technical expertise beyond our scope, we can connect you with the appropriate individuals or organizations to assist you.
The Centre’s core service for innovators is idea evaluation leading to the development of new products and ventures. Centre staff provide assistance in developing new ideas for products and services and connect you with the appropriate resources required to take your idea further. Assistance will be provided in conducting preliminary feasibility studies, developing pricing and product strategies, assessing your business management skill level and training needs, preparing market research and a business plan, and business start-up.
